Voices United PHX

Voices United PHX is a grassroots, community-powered initiative —
We are growing network of artists, activists, organizers, venues, and community members coming together to build care, connection, and collective power in the face of systems that fail us.

Through music, art, organizing, and mutual aid, we raise funds and mobilize support for community members harmed by ICE, while building coalitions to drive change across metro Phoenix.

Voices United is built in collaboration with:
MELT Fest Events, Organized Power in Numbers (OPIN), Puente, Poder in Action, Mesa Valley Indivisible, Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), and Phoenix Metro Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) — alongside hundreds of local artists, organizers, and community members.

This is more than a series of events.
We are network of action, care, and resistance.

What began as a one-night fundraiser has grown into something much bigger. At our last Voices United event in February, hundreds of artists, musicians, organizers, businesses, and community members came together, and we raised $20,050.20 to support families harmed by ICE (double our goal!!)

We witnessed what’s possible when our communities show up for one another. And we continue to build on that momentum.

  • Workers over billionaires.

People can’t afford food, housing, healthcare, or stability. Corporations and billionaires rig the system and everyone else pays the price.

This moment calls for collective action.

That’s why across the country, people are organizing for a day of mass strike on May 1:

No work. No school. No shopping.
When the system is broken, we don’t continue business as usual.

About Voices United PHX

Voices United began as a response — to harm, to urgency, and to the need for community to come together in real, tangible ways.

Since then, Voices United has grown into an ongoing effort to organize community events, raise mutual aid, support protests and direct action, and build a coalition across movements.

Through partnerships with organizations like OPIN, Puente, and Poder in Action, funds are distributed directly to families through the Emergency Workers Legal Defense Fund, and help cover legal fees, bond support, and emergency needs.

This work is about more than fundraising. It’s about building something lasting.

We’re creating space for activists and organizers to connect across movements, share resources, build relationships, and sustain community-led infrastructure.

Voices United is about turning momentum into movement by building the networks we need to support each other long-term
